  1. For these that’re a wide fan of Nicolas Cage, then _Sympathy for the Devil_ is life like. Cage’s characteristic as the passenger is delight in an amplified model of Castor Troy from _Face/Off_ with a splash of Frank Booth from _Blue Velvet_; he’s fully and relentlessly unhinged with a killer violent creep. His chemistry with Joel Kinnaman is bright, as successfully. Cage is the one pulling all of the extremely effective punches, but Kinnaman dodges and weaves delight in a pro; he’s the unsung hero of their interactions.

    However the storytelling within the film is clunky at most attention-grabbing. Most of the energy of writing the film perceived to enter getting these two characters collectively. Once _Sympathy for the Devil_ starts diving into the motivation behind each persona is when it starts to tumble apart.
