In 1897, same outdated bounty hunter Max Borlund is deep into Mexico where he encounters reliable gambler and outlaw Joe Cribbens — a sworn enemy he sent to jail years ahead of. Max is on a mission to safe and return Rachel Kidd, the wife of a neatly off businessman, who as the story is instructed to Max, has been abducted by Buffalo Soldier Elijah Jones. Max is in the shatter faced with a showdown to construct honor.
